COVID-19 WHAT TO EXPECT

New Policies and Procedures (subject to change as Ministry of Health and CMTO guidelines change)

Mask Update: June 2022

The Mask Mandate for most health care settings came to an end as of June 11, 2022.  Health care providers and their patients are no longer required to wear a mask during their manual therapy treatments.  However, many practitioners and patients may choose to continue to wear their mask.

To respect the comfort level of all of our patient's/client's, as everyone has a different sensitivity on this matter, we have decided to follow your lead.

For those who don't wish to wear a mask for their treatment feel free to come to the door without one and your therapist will assume you're comfortable with them not wearing one is well (if they choose).

For those who wish to continue to wear a mask for their treatment, by all means do and your therapist will know to wear one as well to ensure you are comfortable for your appointment. 

Even though masks are optional at this time, please respect your therapist's choice as well, if they choose to continue to wear a mask at this time.

We ask that everyone continues to follow social distancing guidelines where possible and Covid-19 screening will still be required prior to your appointment time.

Please only arrive on time for your appointment as we are trying to limit the number of clients moving about in the clinic. 

Upon entry of the clinic you must sanitize or wash your hands immediately before entering any treatment room.

Please come to your appointment alone, unless you are bringing a child for an appointment as to limit the number of people waiting in the waiting room at this time. 

Proper cleaning/disinfecting protocols have always been something we have done however due to COVID-19 we are required to add some additional disinfecting procedures to go above and beyond for both your safety and ours.

Just a friendly reminder, if you have any signs and/or symptoms of Covid-19 or are generally feeling unwell, please contacts the clinic or your therapist directly to reschedule your appointment.
